The "Leuku 145" is a traditional design for a larger Scandinavian knife, with a larger and wider blade than many of the other Ahti knives. The longer and thicker handle is sized for larger hands and it features formed impressions at the front and back to offer better grip and control when using it for heavier tasks.

Ahti makes fine knives and also make Kellam knives as well. The Ahti leuku is beautifully made with brass accents on the pommel and at the blade. I started buy stropping the edge until is was razor sharp. Then proceded to cut and hack tree limbs in my wooded yard. The blade cut very well and I'm pleased with this knife.
