The English trade knife has a squared handle, as opposed to the rounded handle of the French-style knives, and more closely resembles the types of trade goods offered by English traders during Colonial times.  The longer blade makes this an excellent choice for butchering or more heavy-duty camp and wilderness tasks.

Great knife

Delivered right on time, and is better than I hoped for. Good quality and has that classic look. Seems to hold the edge well. You can’t go wrong with this knife.
