Marttiini Artic Carving Knife

The blade of this knife is inscribed with the Marttiini signature, which stands out in silvery relief against the blackened blade.  The handle has very little contouring, which is useful for allowing a variety of different grips, including pressing the palm of your other hand against the pommel to apply more force for tip carving.  The plain leather sheath is very deep and takes almost the enitre length of the knife, is stamped with the Marttiini logo and the profile of the knife blade, and contains a partial insert to protect both the sheath and the hand from being cut by a blade which is inserted incorrectly.  The belt loop is attached with a metal ring, which gives much more flexibility and keeps the knife out of the way while sitting and crouching.
