Here is another beautiful and highly functional knife from Marttiini! The ample carbon steel blade is dimpled with hammer marks mimicking a "forged" look, and the Marttiini signature is lightly painted in gold along the length of the blade. The wide, hefty handle is a gorgeous combination of tar-stained curly birch wood, with inserts of reindeer antler. The black leather sheath has the Marttiini logo embossed in gold, and contains a plastic insert, to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through both the sheath and your hand.

This would make a great addition to the collection of any outdoors enthusiast!

Below are the detailed measurements of this knife. One important note: for best comfort and grip, the length of your middle finger should be similar to the circumference of the handle.

Quality and craftsmanship at its highest level

All I can say is wow. This knife is beautiful, functional, comfortable, and one of the sharpest knives I've ever had. I am a knife nut, my most expensive knife is a 1400 dollar custom, which is nice however still not as functional and capable as this knife. The handle is gorgeous, and extremely well done. Smooth up top with antler, then a nice transition to the wood with a nice swell. I just got done using it for the first time doing a little carving and it worked flawlessly. I was slicing up some pretty hard wood and even after an extensive beating it was still hungry enough to shave the hair off my arm. The knife has an almost mini leuku blade shape. Skinny at the bottom and comes up to a nice belly up top. Works great for carving down into wood for hollowing out and I'm sure it would work great for processing game. I have owned a few scandi styled knives, mora, helle and this one is by far the best. Not to sound like a fan boy but I'm not letting this knife go. Can't wait to see how well it holds up over the years but I'm sure it will get passed down a few generations. Great knife, great company and knives of the North was awesome to work with. Fast and free shipping.
