Here is a new version of Mora's very popular 106 wood carving knife. This is a very faithful representation of a traditional Scandinavian carving knife, with a medium-length, narrow blade paired with a large handle for maximum grip and control. The blade is 100% carbon steel, hardened to Rockwell 58-59, which makes it less likely to chip and a little easier to sharpen than Mora's original laminated blade. Comes with a plastic sheath.

The knife arrived quickly and was put to use shortly after it arrived. I am carving bowls and spoons with it. The knife is quite sharp and easy to handle. I would highly recommend Knives of the North and Mora knives to all greenwood carvers.
Very impressed with solid build quality, grip comfort and carving efficiency of this Mora 106 CS. Plastic sheath does everything I need it to do - which is to simply protect the blade when not in use. My second Knives of the North purchase, and will certainly buy from them again.
