Here's another beautiful knife from the artists at Wood Jewel. The carbon steel blade features a hand-forged "hammered" look. The handle a very attractive assembly made from curly birch and goat willow, sanded, stained, and polished to a smooth finish, and has both an inset for your index finger, and a hooked pommel made from reindeer antler, to prevent the knife from slipping out of your hand. The full-length tang is evident by the brass nut on the pommel, giving this knife added durability.

The sheath contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through, and the belt loop is a twisted leather cord, which allows the knife to swing freely and keep out of the way when you're crouching or sitting.

Elegance

An so I got mine one day advance to its targeted delivery. It is true that less is more. It's elegant and simplicity is designed to really just work and that is why these knives lasted until the present. All the knives here are classic designed, and they just work and displayed for its beauty and admire for its use. They all have survived through time because they just work and keep on working. overall it's seen like a piece of art rather than a working knife. Razor sharp blade and perfect of color contrast handle between curly birch & goat willow. Unfortunately the handle are too slim for my medium size hand; might get use to it during the work.
