This is a great knife for carving and whittling, with a short, stout blade strong enough for the task, attached to a full-sized handle to give you lots of control. The stained wood handle features a pronounced pommel hook to help keep a firm grip, and the black leather sheath features a light stamping of the Marttiini name and a conventional riveted belt loop. The sheath also contains a partial insert, to protect both the sheath and the hand from getting sliced if the knife is inserted incorrectly.

Great for fine detail work, or just a pick-up utility knife for around the home or shop. I find many jobs around the house or garage where a smaller blade is the best.
