Beautiful and extremely functional. First impression is that of quality and craftsmanship. The grain of the handle wood is pretty wild, can see why it is called curly birch. Lines between the different materials of the handle are nice and smooth, the antler piece on the pommel is beautiful as well as being great for retention. The blade came very sharp! This is going to be my new favorite for my camping and outdoor activities! Can't beat the quality of this blade at the price
